To Whom it may Concern...
I was scheduled to take the G.R.E. at your testing center this morning. I was more than a little frustrated at the sign on the door announcing the test had been cancelled due to technical difficulties. My bigger question, though, is why the e-mail & phone call announcing the cancellation came fifteen minutes after I was to have begun the exam, forty-five minutes after I was to have shown up in the first place. It seems like this is something you could have done yesterday afternoon before I made a two hour round trip for nothing. I look forward to giving you my business and finger prints in the future.
Sincerely,
Charles Ripley
Reminds me of the time Amtrak cancelled my train and similarly didn't tell me by phone until much later. Meanwhile I got reamed out by the ticket-counter-lady for showing up "late." Grr.
ReplyDeleteI was just reflecting on your reasons for counting continuing ed as part of your 2000 hours. I imagine that many people will say, "If I work for a business and want to get my masters, I'm doing that on my own time. Even if it does help me improve my skills." I think it would be valuable to note for many readers of this blog that in order to maintain licensure, teachers must complete X hours of professional development and continuing education over a certain period of time. I don't know if this has been said, but I think it is a unknown piece of being a teacher.
ReplyDeleteI just got a message from prometric saying that my test has been cancelled due to technical difficulties. It is on 21st january....can you by any chance tell me how do i reschedule the test ??
